queer as in destruction of gender, language, body and ultimately: theatre.

ARCHI is a queer, abolitionist, multidisciplinary performance artist and DJ born in france and living in london.

they explore themes of grief, madness, anger and trans liberation in a profoundly community-driven practice, redefining the relationship between audience and performer and pushing the boundaries of cabaret and immersive performance art.

their writing connects body fascism, gender abolition and the parallels between the queer experience and the stage. to help share those stories, archi uses screen projections, soundscapes and video recordings, confusing the senses and imagining impossible worlds.

archi’s recent projects include:
Divine Madness, a mythology-themed queer cabaret show curated, written and directed by archi
Gilded Tongue, a performance art collective in association with cinthia lilen
